Hide away beneath the grey

No one will know what no one can see

Tucked away, lock and key,

If my skin chills along with breeze

And the critics cry and beg and plead

Too much to think and I think I need sleep

But these thoughts they lose sight and cant see

I never forget but they forget me

Maybe its a mistake or maybe it’s gold

But nothing lasts when examining facts

Maybe acceptance is our best bet

But you’re worth the secrets kept

So relevant to me and I absolutely adore the rhythm and rhyming of this piece. Could not have asked for a better ending either. Excellent.
