PleaserA Poem by Violetta AlexisToday might be a good day if I..."Pleaser" Written By: Violetta Alexis A hand held a heart and penetrated its physique with dirty nails, next to a cage, under an immobile tree, Stuck in its ways. I'm somewhere, But not far away. Today might be a good one, if I plant my kidneys outside and watch a death bloom. So it bloomed, and he watched it, while he held a penetrated heart And complained that the cage was empty. Rain needs a garden like a pin needles need a cushion, So he bought an umbrella And thrust my face in the soil, forced my tears, And smiled casually, while death grew a desperate face. I'm somewhere, But not far away. Today might be a good one, if I plant my womb outside and watch life bloom. I sat in his cage, Under an immobile tree, Forever stuck in his ways. © 2012 Violetta AlexisReviews
