Never--Our Nevermore

Never--Our Nevermore

A Poem by Requiem Bane
"

Another thing inspired by Jesse.

"

You and I are bound
Together for eternity
Pain or pleasure
To Nevermore

You and I are held
Down through it all
Choking, pleading and begging
Till Nevermore
You and I are breathless
Silent as we wait
Terror and ecstasy
For Nevermore
You and I are wondrous
Soft and trembling
Violent touch and gentle word
In Nevermore
You and I are still
Listless and forgotten
Cold or distant
Calling “Nevermore”
You and I are gone
Lost in time’s mosaic
Kept from normality
Our Nevermore
You and I
We are Never
Never again
Nevermore

You have a way with words. Beautiful, tragic, melancholy. Keep it up.

I like the (presumed) inspiration from Poe here. Also like the chances you took with the formatting. Great word choice ("Lost in time's mosaic" sticks out; wonderful line) and overall a nice job.

About
Requiem Bane; a Lament of Misery, but of course, that's not my real name. I'm Mary. I thought it would be a cool idea to join, seeing as Euphoric Sin was on here. Yeah, I love you Jesse. Age: 16 .. more..
