past Violet Street

past Violet Street

A Poem by Danielle Asher
"

abre los ojos

"

distracted

a whirlwind of you again

though i began to change the dance

imagine you dancing... ha

imagine you dancing with me... ha ha

forget Buffalo, forget the Heights, forget Italy

all i need is one night by you

and I am sent home

A home that I have known

of destruction, unbalance, and love

you love me

I thrill you

but I will always come 2nd to your disfunction

I'll enjoy being your girl at the end of the bar

Sing for you

Smile for you

But at the end of the night I go

distracted

past Violet Street

alone

hehe this was a different format in the poem, LOL, but now on to actually reviewing, great job on this and I loved the flow and imagery.

You just distracted me with the form you used in this poem, I like it. No one likes to play second fiddle, but it is better then going home alone, I like the flow of this and you come across very strong wih your convictions.

Some intrigue.

"a whirlwind of you again"

"you love me
I thrill you"

Some great lines. Us guys can be so dense at times.
