![]() HookedA Poem by Danielle Asher![]() thoughts on fish, the lake, and the line.![]()
Hook Bait Sink Hook stuck in cheek Wriggling around trying to figure how to set free But a fish does not have much mind Does not have much time to figure out a loop So it dangles Until it is reeled in Or set free I won third place in a fishing contest up at Greenlake when I was ten. I can not seem to place in a fishing contest now. Maybe I need a map to the lake. Or it could be that the fish are different then I remember them Times were sure different I was a lot smaller. © 2008 Danielle AsherReviews
