it never truly exsistedA Poem by Danielle Asherwell you invest in nothing and that is what you get. i tried to put a different spin on my emotions as of late.
The only thing that was never really there…
A dog with no collar A clock with no second hand A sink with no drain A window with no screen A game with no pieces A TV remote with no batteries A closet with no door A phone with no numbers A refrigerator with no food A bag of chips with no salsa A car with no gas A restaurant with no costumers A park with no trees A protest with no message A picture with no frame A blast of thunder with no lightening A sky with no stars A sun with no moon A necklace with no neck A page of lyrics with no melody A finger with no ring A dance with no dancer A voice with no song A hand with no touch A body with no contact A thought with no mind A mouth with no smile A vision with no eyes An ear with no listening A soul with no love A love with no time
It never truly existed.
