the only truth

the only truth

A Poem by Danielle Asher
"

this piece is okay. I am full of optimism, faith and hope and I do not express it often in my work. This was and inspired attempt a few years ago. I figured why not share it. (no1knowsViolet collection)

"

Sometimes the voice can not be heard

Our ears and mouths are closed

There are days it is difficult to project

And everyday seems harder to see

Go beyond yourself to this place

Baptize yourself with tears

Know that they are cleansing

For only better things will come

if you open yourself to allow them in

A tragedy exists only where your most fear lies

(with the choice to accept this, there is fear)

Free will was given to us as an expression to choose between

Love and Fear

The human side in all of us chooses fear; it is the easy way out

To love is to know God and ourselves

Our higher unknown self knows this

We should embrace in love

For it flows most freely

Those that act to shoot you down or

Bind you in chains are powerless

Servants of fear

Their expectations weigh them down

As a bolder on the ocean floor

We can re-member

We can free ourselves

Believe in love

It is the only truth

Nuf said. But how many people truly embrace love. I know of only a few. There are allot of hypocrites out there. Even some people close to us. They should all pay closer attention to you poem. Thanks!! -Brandon
