I'll never know you there

I'll never know you there

A Poem by Danielle Asher
"

a poem about the effect my friend's suicide had on me. CK-11/74-1/97 from the "no1knowsViolet" collection

"

For you I live

Because of you I leaned

I gave up abandonment for a chance to learn what you couldn’t

The love you did not know

I was determined to find

You were determined to end

Extraordinary circumstances

Something made you cross the line

I never got to that place

You left so many contemplations

I confront mine

Longing to be a part

You entered the unknown

You found your dark place

I’ll never know you there

I released the blame and so many tears

All I wanted was to hold you here

Always in my heart

In this place with me

You need to know you are loved

Now maybe you can believe

Maybe now your pain is gone

I go on

I go on

Because of you

For you I live
