Not another year apart

Not another year apart

A Poem by Danielle Asher
"

a poem about loneliness

"

Not another year apart

(how many does it have to be?)

A door open and only a breeze blows through

Walk just a few steps forward and the rain will fall no more

Not another year apart

Another knot between soul mates, between fate

(Is it a challenge to stay distant?)

The songs repeat over to be a reminder of the empty space,

the air blowing,

the past,

or more?

Missing, a past, a future

Not another year apart

Does your conscience spin?

loosing sleep every night, my eyes becoming darker

visions of our life

Imagine that…

Our life

Not another year apart.
