Right is Left

I am hoping to remember the edits from before the delete!

 

i long for a world where Right is Left

and summer is winter

that would make today the first day of spring

which would explain why i am falling in love with you

 

surreal would be real

and we would pray for the rain to fall harder

instead of sunny days

 

the rain washes away the sin that is us

baptizes us free of sin for the future

the future which will be the past

and wrong will be right

young will be old

and I get to keep you

 

this will be when confusion becomes clear

my sadness ever joy

and my smile remains a smile

 

Right is Left

summer, winter

but love is still love

if we brush away the complications

it would be

simple

and it would be us
