Determination

Determination

A Poem by Danielle Asher
"

poem from my "no1knowsViolet" collection. for CK

"

Determination
Face to face with bitter cold
the chill sets into your bones

A calling
Will that swept you off his feet
Or a rope
No more contemplations pace around his head
But have been passed on to ours

Weakness, Strength
What gave him the ability to fulfill the thoughts we have all wept with?
Living in a shadowed world of truth
The colors appear so vividly
EXCEPTIONAL
The spectrum has no limits

Resentful
Longing to be a part
To belong, to feel love
To feel anything else
Satisfaction
Maybe Now
Maybe Now
But not ours.

EXCEPTIONAL poem. I really like the way that you right justified it. That was a really special touch.

I like the lines:

"The colors appear so vividly
EXCEPTIONAL
The spectrum has no limits"

I especially like the way that you capitalized "EXCEPTIONAL."

Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing!

I think the last stanza is very beautiful. I mean, doesn't want to feel loved (even this book I just read this being of pure evil just wanted someone to love it, even though it was incapable of love itself), but we have this inexplicable feeling that we're not worthy of it.
