The Girl Who's Gone NowA Poem by VioletValkyrieA small Anaphora poem I wrote for an English class last year I came across and wanted to share about someone who had been in my life. Enjoy!I'll always remember the new girl who was so lost but still greeted anyone with a smile. The girl who I approached, asking about her favourite stickers. The girl who I had found common itnerests with and conversations to make with. The girl who went out of her way to choose me as a partner for a project. The girl who I spent multiple afternoons smiling and playing video games with. The girl who caused my friend to feel jealous, saying we were perfect for each other. The girl who moved away only a single year after knowing her. The girl who I visited, less and less. The girl who I eventually drifted apart from. The girl who's gone now, and I wonder if she ever thinks about me.
