She Was Mine To StealA Poem by Violet StonePoem about love and stalking. Contains themes of murder and unrequited love. Please give me a review of what you think and I hope you enjoy! She Was Mine To Steal When I first saw her, I knew my life had got brighter, I wouldn't give up on her as I was always a fighter. I kept thinking of her, wondering how she would feel, As I watched her I knew that her heart, I shall steal. It was becoming to much - the rapture, Then I followed her - ready to capture. As she walked, she looking like a fragile lily, She shivered and saw that she was chilly. I put my arms around her as I wanted to warm her, She screamed with terror. What was next to occur? I put my hand over her mouth to silent my love, Desperate to escape - she pushed and shoved. I tried to explain that I didn't want to cause her harm, I even tried to work my charm. But she was terrified and didn't want me, And I really wanted her - she was full of beauty. So I thought - If I can't have you no one can, Then I killed her with a knife - like a mad man.
