Just a poem I wrote off the top of my head about my boyfriend. He's really everything to me just like this poem says.

Light Of My Life

 

The sun rises,

The sun sets,

But everyday you brighten my day most of all.

You’re the light of my life.

 

Making me smile,

Holding me close,

You give me everything I need.

You’re the light of my life.

 

Comforting me,

Reassuring me,

You wipe away my tears during the hardest times.

You’re the light of my life.

 

Making me laugh,

Making me glow,

You always bring out the best in me.

You’re the light of my life.

 

Standing up for me,

Staying by my side,

You protect me and always act as my personal hero.

You’re the light of my life.

 

Understanding me,

Understanding my thoughts,

You know me better than anyone else.

You’re the light of my life.

 

Listening to me,

Talking to me,

You’re always there for me and I know you always will be.

You’re the light of my life.

 

Hugging me,

Kissing me,

You hold me close to you and remind me that you’re mine.

You’re the light of my life.

 

Trusting me,

Sharing with me,

You’re always loyal and trusting me with every secret.

You’re the light of my life.

 

Staying with me,

Loving me,

You’ll always be with me and be my everything.

You’re the light of my life.

Please make any suggestions or point out things that are good because I'm considering showing this to my boyfriend on our 7 month anniversary in a few days. He's never seen anything I've written so I'd want this to be perfect. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
