A Betreayed Heart

Another poem that I wrote about a month ago and was based off of real experiences with love and betrayal.

A Betrayed Heart

I walk down

The dark ally.

My mind is on you

And you alone.

I'm thinking of the feel of

Your lips on mine

And the beating of hearts

Synchronized as one.

There you are,

But why aren't you alone?

As I approach

I see her.

You are kissing her

Like there is no tomorrow.

I watch in horror,

Before turning to run.

I glance back once,

And see you both

Staring after me.

She is my best friend.

What did I do,

To deserve

Losing you?

To be betrayed?

I hate you

More than I love you.

I don't know what to do

Now that I have lost you.

This is one of the first poems I ever wrote that kinda has a short story in it...
