Aching

A quick poem I wrote about love when my boyfriend and I had to split up because he was moving.

Aching

 

My heart is aching,

To hear your sweet voice.

I thirst for your love

And to feel your strong arms around me.

 

My heart is aching

To see every feature,

Of your perfect face.

I picture your warm hand

Enclosed around mine.

 

My heart is aching

For your love

And three words

To escape from your mouth.

 

My heart is aching

For that perfect smile

To spread across your face

When you see me coming your way.

 

My heart is aching

For us to be

Together again

And never apart.

 

My heart is aching

For you.

Please come to me

And heal the pain.

What do you think of the repetition of each stanza? I normally don't write anything like that but I gave it a shot this time...
