This is just a poem I came up with real quickly the other day about one of my best friends who I used to date but we recently broke up and now he and I are trying to figure things out.
This shows deep passion for someone. You want them, but you can't find the right one. All that is left is the dream of one day finding them, or else, they could be right in front of you. This poem shows exactly that, the deep passion to for someone that you may one day find.

This totally just reminded me of the story of my first kiss. I won't go into detail, since even I'm still trying to find the words to put it into story format, but I'll just leave it at the fact that it lasted so little it might've never even happened. If it weren't for my memory there'd be no way of knowing it did.
I get a similar vibe from this, sort of having to make a memory-effort to picture yourself in the situation you still wish you had. A situation that only seems to exist when you close your eyes and imagine it like in a dream, that's only real then.
The emotion aside (which I loved), the line-by-line delivery of single self-contained thoughts makes it so reminescent of dreams, I feel the poem really fulfills its title.
Reminds me of "37 Haiku" by John Ashberry (http://www.terebess.hu/english/haiku/ashbery.html) whenever anybody writes like this, which I also take to doing every once in a while; it's an awesome way to have a stream of consciousness, just put onto paper what's in the back of your mind, have some catharsis.
Okay, so I'm in high school and just started writing about a year ago. I really enjoy writing but don't find much time to write because of my crazy school schedule and extra activities plus normal lif.. more..
