Airplanes

Airplanes

A Poem by Savior knowmore

Soaring, flying away

To escape the sin of day

On wings of courage and hope

A marriage of science and magic, elope

Dancing through the clouds

Around me, the misty vapor shrouds

Over earth and sea

Soaring, flying, is me

The warm sun, my wings it kisses

During the starry night, the light it misses

Tired and exhausted, I land to sleep

Until I fly again, no sound I make, not a peep
