Every day I think... 2

Day 2 in my 1 week of sharing my thoughts. Enjoy. By the way, if you heavily beleive in a religion, and connot tolerate being called wrong, do not read.

Every day I think to myself, what is religion? Is it faith in an unknown being? Blindly following whatever another man says, in the hopes it will give you a good after life?

 

Well... This is going to offended MANY of you, and I do appologise. Religion is bull. Think about it. THOUSANDS of religions all promise to be the RIGHT religion. The right faith.

 

But where do these religions come from? Man. Man MIGHT have heard a higher power say something, but do you honestly believe he will pass the message along 100% correct? Then the next guy messes up. And the next. Soon a peaceful deity becomes a raving war god, demanding human sacrifice. And even if he DOES pass it along correctly, it'll only stay pure for a few fleeting moments.

 

Every religion believes something created everything. Well, everyone knows God, correct? Made the earth in 7 days?  Well, if he created earth, and everything else... Who created him? Something cannot come from nothing.

 

Speaking of God... I have a few things to point out. "The Lord said, 'Thou shall not worship any symbols or idols'". A quote from the Bible. Well, that means no idols or symbols, clearly. Well, riddle me this: What are Jesus, the Cross, the Bible? Idol, symbol and yes, a symbol.

 

And also, explain Greek Mythology. An EGG hatches sky and earth. When they touch, UBER-POWERFUL entities (Ocean, Kronos, ect.). Those things create gods. Gods create demi-gods and half-bloods (and MANY monsters). Well, Kronos' wife saved Zues and la-ti-da, skip a few fights, Kronos gets sent to a pit in tartus. 2 questions: Where'd his scyth go, and what happened to mommy after this? Gods take over, they both vannish.

 

And what about being reborn, moving up or down a level? The very first level would need to be bactiria, so how do they move up? Divide perfectly!? idk... I thought I had more, but I'll come back to this.

 

Every religion has the same principle rules as well. Killing bad, saving people good. Suicide really bad. OH! WAIT!!

 

HOLY WARS!!! What an oxymoron! "Kill all these people to reclaim the Holy Land!" What they didn't say is "Unfortunately, murder is capitol sin. So... ALL the soldiers go to hell." Yeah, the Pope said he'd forgive them. But did God, or Allah? No? Didn't think so.

 

Speaking of the Pope, when can we have a YOUNG one! You wunna know why they're closest to God? They're gunna kick the bucket in a few years. Also, how is it they all live SO DANG LONG?! They're ancient!

 

Oh well. I'm gunna stop before I start getting into this.

Pope question answers:

1) Never because they choose the most experienced pedophile in the Church to be the next Pope, and the most experienced is always an old dude. My question is, why can't a woman be Pope? Oh wait, because women are inferior beings that are only good for cooking and cleaning and producing babies until the day they die.

2) They live for a long time because they have all those little boys to keep them young. Sodomy with a minor does wonders for your health---didn't you know that?

I love this post. Made me laugh. Made me shake my head in agreement. Most of all, reminded me of exactly why I became a pagan. I don't listen to people telling me what religion is. I worship something I KNOW exists, that I KNOW is almighty and powerful, and that is the Earth. Respect it, love it, do no harm to it---because if you do, we're all screwed...

I'd love to see your opinions on Scientology. That would be an interesting read. Haha.
