Hidden Beauty

Hidden Beauty

A Poem by Dewella~Vintella

Falling into the hole of your heart,
you see your world fall apart.
Trying to hold tight as it unravels,
and it seems nothing goes right in your travels.

But the good always washes away,
darkness is forever leading you astray.
Once whole, bright and shinning.
Now shattered, broken, not even a silver lining.

And here you are at the bottom of the well,
thinking it will get worse, and only time will tell.
You sit, and wait,
contemplating fate.

And as the drab stone walls start to close in,
you spot a flowing, blooming from within.
Small, and struggling,
with no light in sight yet still fighting.

And you realize, even in the darkest places,
in the worst moments of the graces.
Beauty can grow, blossom and bloom,
even when surrounded by nothing but gloom.

Beautiful thoughts woven into a powerful poem. People need to rember to look for the light in the darkness.

You journey us into those depths few ever wish to find themselves.. the pain and sorrow that overwhelms.. And yet.. here in that place you so wondrously give us a light...hope. Beautifully voiced over the darkness.

As time has changed, so have I. For a long time I thought I knew who I was and where I belonged, and for a long time I constructed myself to fit inside that mold; But it seems that much like the w.. more..
