Darkness

A Poem by Dewella~Vintella

Eyes of death,
lips of steel.
A dark promise with your every breath,
why can't you be real?

"Oh but I am..."

Just kidding. :)

I love this one. It's so poignant and dark. The narrator could be speaking to a demon, a vampire, or even Death itself. Or better yet, a lover known only in the recesses of their mind, hidden in the repository of dreams. Fleeting and vivid and forbidden and oh so delicious.

You're a woman of passion, Dew, and it always manages to peak through into whatever you write.

Short yet powerful. The hardest poems to do in my mind and you pulled it off so perfectly. Very good poem.

2nd time.

We all walk inside our own reality, It's only when we interact with others that a true framework is formed. :0). Sorry not as good as my first review, oh well
