Fallen

Fallen

A Poem by Dewella~Vintella

A sound my ears can not bare,

my soul starting to shred.

The essence of my life starts to tear,

ending the life of which I have lead.

Apologies shatter as they are spoken,

No words can claim these mistakes.

My bond with life has now been broken,

and my heart; what is left of it can not bear these aches.

Even though my soul begins to weep; no matter the where or when.

I will face the darkness of what my life has become, for I can not bear the evil I carry within.

Very well written. Filled with lots of emotions that really make this piece outstanding. Its a poem many people will be able to relate to and also that speaks to each reader differently. Very well done :)
