ShadowsA Poem by Dewella~VintellaSilken shadows soak my walls, bleeding black and grey. I lay in bed and close my eyes, yet still the shadows stay. I fall into the darkness, and the shadows begin to move. They dance behind my eyes, moving through the room. The stars begin to laugh, and the moon shudders a sigh. The shadows moving closer, I, frozen where I lie. I whisper in the silence, though my words make no sound. I pray for my savior, but here he is not found. The shadows suffocate me, They bleed me black and grey. My skin now silken ashes, and they leave as I lay.
