Lost and Alone

One of the first poems I ever wrote. It's on Poetry.com and was awarded "Editor's Choice of the Month" the first month I had it up. :D It's straight from the heart, written during a stressful time.

It was you and me 
together against the world... 
what happened? 
Where'd you go? 
You left me to face 
the trials of this world alone. 
You left, and now here I am... 
lost and alone in this wide world.
