My old friend

My old friend

A Poem by VintageHottie

The taste of you lingers on my lips,

as I slowly drink you away.

The beauty of your spell tingles my skin.

Your sweet poison runs through my vains.

At this moment, you are the only thing I need,

you're the only thing I want.

You're my favorite brand,

my favorite taste.

You're always willing to come to my aid.

Take away my pain, my thoughts, myself, as I tip you up.

I need your liquid magic to fill me up and plunge me down to a subconscious haven.

One with no worries, no cares and no sense of self.

Make me feel whole.

Help me feel numb.

"So I'll drink you up 'till I've had my fill,

after all these years, you're useful still.

Now it's time my friend for us to say goodnight.

I'l come back tomorrow so you can again make me alright."

Just something I wrote not caring if everything rhymed.
IDK, I just didn't want to toss it.
