Twinkle Twinkle

Twinkle Twinkle

A Poem by Vin

Twinkle twinkle

Litle star

I wished upon

To erase my scars

Up above the world so high

Like my screams that reached the sky

When the blazing sun is gone

I hope he knows I did him wrong

Then you shine your little light

The light that burns away my fright

Then the traveller in the dark

Will thank you for keeping us apart

He could not see which way to go

So I kissed that boy to show

In the dark blue sky you can keep

Your hand tight around my heart that weeps

For you never shut your eyes

Til the love between us finally dies

You keep me strong with the hand that's dealt

My lantern of hope, you're always there to help

Though I know not what you are

Twinkle twinkle

Little star

This poem reminded me of a song by Breaking Benjamin, "Rain". I couldn't search for any right words to say to this but brilliant. You are truly a poetess, an artist is burried in you.
