The Little Things

The Little Things

A Poem by Vin

A man once said to me,
"I am the answer to life"
And I answered,
"Then why cause so much strife?"

A gypsy once said to me,

"Come let your spirit fly"
And I answered,
"And leave my body here to die?"

A child once asked me,
"Come play hide and seek?"
And I answered,
"Promise you won't peek?"

So, this is definitely the best piece of writing I've read in a couple of days.
It's going to my favorites.
Such an honest write, wonderfully told.
Keep up the excellent work!

Poem is wonderful. Each set-up of words told a story. It seem all road lead to sweetness and misery. A excellent poem. Thank you.
