Pray for redemption,
For your soul is at stake,
Beg for attention,
No matter how fake,
The stone angel wearing a glass smile,
Ash destroys you of sins, evil and vile,
Can't look right at it,
Yet can't look away,
Getting out is easy,
To stay here, you'll pay,
The monsters you hide from
Won't shrivel and die,
Won't leave, won't give up,
Telling you lie after lie,
Love can be blind,
But hate can be too,
Just remind yourself,
I'll be gone again  soon,
Spin a web of lies,
Destroy a dream of mine,
Please don't care when you attack,
'Cause my life wont come back,
The saddness is back,
The heart'll turn black,
"Give up!" screams the body,
"Give up!" pleads the soul,
But you'll come right back up,
'Cause Hell's already full...

I love this. This is got to be one of my favorite pieces of writing. The wording, the flow... Amazing. And this: ""Give up!" screams the body,
