Through Cracks an Abyss

Through Cracks an Abyss

Through Cracks an Abyss

Persistence is perpetuated despite the fog atop a hill, obscuring the obstacle from the path, as the ascendant mercurial force pushes past.

Gears turn as a pendulum swings, they are untouched mechanics with one hypnotic metronome. Sounding off as few listen, elation as a guiding hand, sorrow and torment be damned, not worth the depth.

A truly hopeful poem,
Inlaid with the reminder that under everything is that innermost life-force.
Symbolic images come to life and move along as the words do.
