Dim Lit Eyes

Dim Lit Eyes

A Poem by V. P. Trujillo
"

Passing tracks.

"

Dim Lit Eyes

With lights in her eyes, with wings as her prize, she floats to the sky in the hole, the hole in the sky.

Keep on going and going, wording on walls for miles.

I don’t want myself either.

Inside this hole she finds her turning bad.

Not wanting more shame she turns back.

I can’t blame you for finding in me, sin. For all I know, I know so little and less of my within, so let’s say I am a monster, strait from outside your head.

My thoughts pulsate as this ride of mine speeds by, if all was as I wished.

My wish was but to cry, to you.
