What bout a campfire?

"
Hello Everyone,
To the one who's reading this- have you ever considered the source of a creation?  Any creation- may be it's life, a book, an idea or any thing? I once met a saint who told me, before any kind of outside manifestations- the seeds are scattered within. If we close our eyes and observe our breath- there are certain vibrations which reflect the sources of creation.
Since we all are writers- I have felt that nothing comes to us by chance. Whatever story or poem we write, whatever ideas we conceive, who ever we meet- everything is pre-planned. We can call it destiny or karma. But it is a magic we cannot fathom easily.
In my life, all experiences has approached either when I was dong nothing, when I was travelling or conversing with beautiful strangers. What are yours? have you ever had a conversation so deep about life with someone that resulted in a connection?
If yes or no- this a platform for our growth. Everything that we come across, every one we cross our path with, are in fact access points to our growth. This is something that I live by.
Let us consider this as a campfire to share sublime and the weird. To converse in such a way that we augment our horizons.

Love...

I miss the days of campfire stories. I was lucky, All my grandparent and uncles/Aunts were story tellers. Maybe this is why I became one.

Hemingway said it best. When we write, we bleed to the paper. Not easy to do. My father passed last Tuesday. He fought in WW2 in Germany in 1943-1945 as a Para-trooper. He never talk of. Not easy to release all things. I am enjoying your words and thoughts Vin.

Thank you Vin.
I believe every day experiences drive a writer's creative abilities. To be able to observe our own experiences or to watch others grapple with life inspire our stories and poems. Some times thoughts hit me in the middle of the night and have to be capture immediately. Other times I have to dwell on a story for a while before I start writing. Either way, it's always an enjoyable experience.

I like your idea of opening up a forum for people to have a back-and-forth on the ideas you're presenting. I think today's audiences want to participate & you're giving people an invitation. As for your theories on life & the artistic process, I have had similar views. I just want to say one thing about your "pre-planned" remark -- what difference does it make? Whether life is a plan or not, this is something that happens PRIOR TO the present moment, so it's over & it doesn't matter anymore. Living in the moment means not attaching a bunch of junk to the present moment, as carried in with whatever the intent might have been. We can only really ever respond to the present moment. I honestly don't really know. Such weighty ideas migrate in my mind constantly (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank U. So can we? Like a campfire!! You take the initiative as people know and adore you more!

I have never had a great number of friends but the friends that I have are great. I like to believe that I have connected with each one of them on a very deep level. Weather it is sharing dreams or laughing while just being silly each moment, each memory is a connection. Something we carry in our minds and hearts that we can draw from when we need them. I bad day or a trial we are going through.
I believe writhers characters are based on real people, real personalities that they have known, for the better and for the worse.
