Mother's Child

She looked within to see the form of life that is preparing to come out and live.

As I close my eyes nowadays

and look inside, which is where you are;

all the myths of forms,looks and words

are busted deep within my soul.

So that's what I'am gonna teach you

when you come out of me;

You're born of love,

and that's what you live of,

nothing else will you seek of.

I urge you to leave the burden of

being best,great or unique.

You love, live, give with your heart.

You live an ordinary life,but with love;

love and love only;

the extraordinary will take care of itself.

The thing is, when the young are celebrated for their true nature, without pressure or obligation to live according to some adult's unfulfilled dream, this freedom will often nurture an even better outcome, as far as how well-balanced & successful a person turns out. I love that you convey this in terms of a mother speaking to her unborn child & that you state things in a sketchy way so that the full impact of this conversation dawns slowly. Even tho this is a beautiful wish for one's child, I also have to acknowledge how many times parent(s) do everything possible & still a kid goes in a bad direction! It's a crap shoot! A child needs love and from that tender loving care it will have all the foundations it needs to thrive. What it doesn't need are pushy parents with unrealistic ambitions pushing their child into unhappiness.Love is all you need.
