Lady DayA Poem by Vile
As soon as you came in
I thought the lights would dim behind you. Shades long to greet you, to give them glow for nothing. You enter clothed in color-- if only the lights would fade beside you, I know I'd not forget this room. You enter coaxed by strangers-- now that the lights have dimmed I swear you're reaching. I try to pull you back but the Shades they snap blindly. I should have known, everything is darker in the distance.
