A Poem by Viktorsha
"

I never actually got to finish this one, but it's still pretty decent.

"

Horizon closed its arms

And now I'm left with every whisper of the fall.

The leaves keep yodeling their lies

While my own tongue forgot its art of honesty.

The soil gets colder with each bitter swift of hand

You use instead of lips.

Foreign signals in the air hang to produce a source of sound,

But silence is the answer for tonight.

My pale blue legs run off into the shadows of the sky,

With no intention of  looking back.

Such a gentle beauty, soft like mist... Looking for direction, moving through time and space. Brilliant and beautiful!

wow. killer first line. i was immediately hooked.

"Horizon closed its arms" - fantastic.

i really enjoyed how you intertwined nature and your inner feelings. the yodeling leaves that lie. the silence and sound. the sky. the cold earth.... THAT especially hit home (pardon the bad pun).

that coupled with the hands instead of lips.... such a remarkable poetic way of describing abuse if that is indeed what you meant. that's how my spirit read it anyway. so there ya go.

i really enjoyed reading this.
