Seasons

Seasons

A Poem by Vigil Dreamer

Seasons

Pink and deep green,
new buds quickly seen,
rain drums off the world,
soil logged and scents swirled,
spring brings such beautiful things,

Red and inflamed,
light strength will be drained,
song birds drift on by,
ground parched and sun high,
summer brings such beautiful things,

Golden and brown,
crackles with sound,
leaves glide on the breeze,
setting sun and burnt trees,
autumn brings such beautiful things,

Benumbed Ice and white,
brittle leaves out of sight,
a robin chirps freely,
breathe seen and cold steely,
winter brings such beautiful things.

This was a pleasure to read.
Really, it was. Your descriptions go past the simple (and overused) picturing of things like snow and flowers. They really dig into the depth of each season and the way you rhymed it was very nice!
