Wow.. lots of painful emotions coming out here.. trust is an interesting subject. My experience has taught me that truly the only one in this world you can 100% trust is yourself.. okay.. maybe 90-95% for most.. as sometimes we can't even trust ourselves being human. People make mistakes.. life is pain.. I live a different motto today.. I try not to say things that I wouldn't want coming back to me or gossiped about... other than that .. if you are truly struggling.. a therapist is safer than friends!!! or family for that matter! I have fell victim of my own stupidity of giving very sensitive info to both and having it gossiped about ... even coming back to me in the workplace.. that is how out of control gossip has become! You must be the envy of all around you ... if you do not trust and others have hurt you.. as people only gossip when they are jealous or unhappy with themselves! If this someone broke your trust that badly.. keep them at a close but safe distance from your heart! (they say keep your enemies closer than your friends.. I believe it's because it hurts alot more when friends harm you) Great passionate writing.. provoked me! =)
