House sitter.

House sitter.

A Poem by Victorian1842
"

Just a short poem that came from a halloween writing prompt, playing around with an abcb rhyme scheme.

"
The candle flickers,
Night is here,
Sleep is restless,
Abandoned to fear.

The room is old and creaking,
You're hear all alone,
This house wants a master,
There's no going home.

So you sing to youself,
As you abandon the light,
This house is yours now,
But just for tonight.
