World, where are you?A Poem by VictoriaI look around the shiny walls of the world. Covered in smiles and masks. Unseen by people yet worn by all. I shake in fear of this intangible thing that's dripping in their speech. Friends of years take upon it. It laughs in my face and builds those walls. I've climbed to find an exit. One out of those simple shrugs. But I always end up in the corner of the table, surrounded by beauty of a peacock. Companion is the darkness now for me. The light they have for themselves and not even look at. Tears come at night as their sayings go down my ears. So haunting in all nights of disgust. I stand up in my own misery and whisper to myself "Who are they?"
