Little Black DressA Poem by Victoria Lee~
Getting older is getting old
Sadness and heartbreak
Countless nights alone
Self-imposed exile reaching an end
Starting right now
Getting back in the game
Going out tonight
Celebrating the New Year
Dressed to kill
A head turning, future heartbreaker
In a little black dress
Slit way up the side
Teasing the eye that follows the cut
Sexy well toned legs
Encased in silky thigh high stockings
Strappy black sandals with two inch heels
Blond hair hanging sleekly
Down a smooth bare back
Name sake lingerie keeping a secret
Smiling now as she looks in the mirror
Seeing a reflection of the women she once was
And knowing that is the women she still is
Getting older is really not so bad
Laughing as she walks out the door
Rocking a little black dress
2008 is going to be a good year
I’ll be damned she giggles
Victoria Lee is back
Thanks to the magic
of a
little black dress
Happy New Year!
