BittersweetA Poem by Victoria Lee~
A warm breeze blows gently over
wildflowers growing in fields of clover. Butterflies are flying free.
Such a sublime scene surrounding me, taking me to a memory of you. Like the wind, you came out of no where
Like the butterflies, you needed to fly free.
Bittersweet memories that make me smile, as I let myself reflect back in time. I would have done anything for you. Anything, even letting you go. I did not send you off to fly away alone.
A little piece of me went with you. I will always keep you hidden in my heart. I let you out to reminisce in those bittersweet memories
Of butterflies flying over fields of wildflowers and clover. I will always smile while lost
in the beauty of everything you. I have my peace in knowing in time, the wind will bring you back to me. © 2008 Victoria Lee~Featured Review
