Defenestrated dreams of summer

Defenestrated dreams of summer

A Poem by Victor Gardel

You play with the rolling paper,
you make little cranes,
for everyone who hurts you
one reachs this world.

When a thousand falls in space
your wish will come true
and you'll be unable to retrace
the time when your soul felt blue.
Or thousand times perhaps.

You fuse the void with gaps
in your mind that crawls
up the spine of your home
as it screams and as it growls
it'll result in sadest gnome.

Riding the unicorn bones
he greets you by blinking
with his left eye full of stones
that cause the werewolf's sinking.
Because the cold is mixed with heat.

Swimmers are long lost in the sand.
And melody takes crap in a beat,
finger is seducing the hand,
mermaids are flying in your brain
where living can't die
but joy turns to pain.

Wake up my Alice
there is no sanity under your bed.
There's no blood in that chalice,
chalice you never had.

You never were a goddess
and these people in the dark are not praying to you,
those are just some empty faces,
mind is playing tricks on you.

Let us fly to hospital,
there they'll give you pill.
"No,those coated banshees
even mute will make me ill."

Maybe you are right
but then try to chase the demons away
together with angels too
cause in this room
there is only me and you.

No fairy-tale beings,
no murderers and no priests.
Your mind is truelly deceiving
you with all those feasts
your thoughts are invited to,
ignoring the poisoned food
on wings of insanity they show up.

How can I know for sure
what I'm touching,
what I'm dreaming
you asked the normal me.

This what you see
right now,you and me
is what your dreams are made of
and there lies the difference.

But what my darling
(oh,your crazy replicas)
if you and me
are made of our dreams?

And not to mention
I see the gnome right now.

And not to mention
I notice not the little man.

And not to mention,
we all are born different.

Yes my darling,
but not in that way.

I watch you,
how you fall down on the floor
and start hitting it with your forehead.
"It'll only cause headache."

But wait,I see gnome no longer.
That's so fine your mind is stronger
than itself,the minute before
it was bending under its own dictatorship.

Well done,you have climbed
perpendicular mountain of sanity.
"Thank you for pulling me
out of the abysss of insanity."

But do you remember,
you asked,your eyes were shining.
You remember the last summer
we woke up at the same time
and the mare was haunting our serenity.

Yes I do my darling
but it is only so
because our love is deep enough
for our dreams to fuse.

"Please,go make me some coffee.
I'll be by the window
observing this beautifull snow."
I shall honey,my darling,my soul.

The boiling water,
ground dark seeds.
Sound of glass shattering
and me running through the fields
of panic.

I leaned out through the window
only to see you
bloodied and devastated
by the gravity down there in the snow.

I stepped back,
fell on the floor
and started hitting the very same
with my forehead.

Feeling the pain running through my head
I had to lean once again
to kill every happiness I ever had.

But,
what a surprise,
what a demise,
what a rapture.

Angel,
demon
and the gnome
were taking you up
to the snowy heaven.
