The comparison of kindness to dark matter is very effective here, as both are agents of adherence. While we cannot see the process of dark matter, kindness is visible in many ways on earth. The speaker cites it as the force that combats both separation and collapse. E pluribus unum, and kindness is the glue that holds it all together. A delightful piece.
