Tomorrow

Tomorrow

A Poem by Autumn

I was born at dawn

The feet in my grave

Blossoming my brawn

I could only be brave.

Your corpse left ahead

I grow to be stronger

Death won't bow my head

Never like you, mother.

Wisdom dug my skin

I now see my death

With her little grin

So soon my last breath.

So now I bow my head to see the toddler

Just like you, mother.

Author's Note

Autumn
We are born to die. During our younger years we tend to think that we will never do the same mistakes as our parents (we know best)..but as we grow older we tend to do the same ones, or even other ones, but we realize how hard life is, and we finally understand our parents' ways.

Id love to know what the underlying thoughts behind this peice are, it feels like there's something im missing, its deep its emotional but im strugglng to scrape at your emotions during this piece.
How well you work with flow this piece reads smoothly , each word adding a sickening affect on its reader... the repettion of just like you mother.
I have to ask and i hope it dosent hurt you to explain or say but is your mother no longer alive?
