The Sad Truth of Waking Up

The Sad Truth of Waking Up

A Poem by Daring Darling Didi
"

I wrote this after having a particularly upsetting dream.

"
Hurt, pain, torture
You're not the only one
Crying.
Send a silver lined message
Outlined in black and white
Two sides of the same story
Neither truth
Neither lie
Read the silver lining
But don't follow it
Dreams only happen when you're asleep
You forget them upon waking anyway.

You state the sad truth in a very poetic and beautiful way. Great job with it!

Such depth and power in your words.
