Unspoken wordsA Poem by Trent Files
The suns rays speak no truth
Of the beauty that lies beneath Buried in a veil of youth Golden in its sheath There is naught that I can compare To the sight that lies before me The image of one so fair Is the image a yearn to see With open arms and open heart I cannot gain composure Not wanting to be apart But disdaining sudden exposure To live In a lie And turn against this emotion It brings forth a treasure of the eye Yet I cannot speak of my devotion © 2013 Trent FilesFeatured Review
