The rain is my tears

I told her I love the rain
The drops crashing upon my face
They take away the pain
I told her I cannot cry
That the clouds do so for me
On those days I feel low I look to the sky
I told her I wish it would all go away
That the clouds are all I need
She started to turn but I asked her to stay
I asked her if she would stand in the rain
And as she stood next to me
Her tears washed away the pain
