(Hasty) Words upon the PageA Poem by Trent FilesHastily written words upon the page Tear stains mark the lines Dried and crumpled with age Left over from unknown signs
Ink upon the pen Writing words that shout pain Words that scream once again And let the tears fall like Torrential rain
A candle stands against the dark A beacon of hope against the tragedy Flames surround the wick in an ark And yet they silence all screams of agaony
Once again I turn to the page My tears stain the hazy lines Dried and crumpled with age Left me without any signs © 2012 Trent FilesFeatured Review
