Jonah?

The first snow happened on December 12. Christmas was coming. The best time of the year. Jamie was the only happy one.
"Can you believe that Christmas is in almost 10 days!" she said as we all just sat there eating our dinner
"I remember when I said, can you believe Christmas is in 364 days! now i get to say 10!" everyone just kept eating
"aren't you people excited?!" she said
It's been 5 months since the whole incident. Jonah and me havent talked to each other in that whole time period. Jamie just looked at me and Jonah for ever. Her eyes were on me then they went to him. Then she finally looked at Ramsey.
"I never hear Capri talk anymore, ever. Not even in our room" She said talking to Ramsey
"well that's to bad" He said
"when I ask her a question or if I talk to her she just looks at me and goes back to playing on her iPod"
"iPod?"
"it holds music"
"Really, what kind?" he asked. It was just like the conversation Jonah and me had a few months ago.
"all kinds" Jonah said. He looked over at me. It was the first words that came out of his mouth in for ever. I looked back at him. Then I looked at Ramsey. He just sat there looking kind of angry. I went back to eating. Once dinner was over Jamie and I went in the front yard.
"did you hear Jonah? he actually talked today!" She said. I just sat there I continued playing cube runner with my iPod.
"and yet, your still not talking" I didn't listen. She came to me and took my iPod and turned it off.
"You keep playing with this. This is the only thing that you ever do anymore!" She got mad. I put out my hand wanting my iPod back.
"Oh you want this?" She put in it her pocket.
"talk" she said
"and not just to me" I looked up at her
"Jonah". I didn't plan on talking still. I would just take it, my iPod.
"your not getting this back until you talk" she stomped back into the house leaving me on the porch. The front door opened again. I felt someone sit next to me.
"I'm sorry" I herd Jonah say
"no, i am" I said
"why?"
"um... actually i don't know" we started laughing.
"I shouldn't have brought you on the roof that night"
"Even if you didn't we would still be having this conversation"
"your probably right" The snow on the ground was so white. and no one had stepped in it yet. I felt arms around my back and we just sat there for the longest time in that same position.
"Jonah?" We herd a voice say coming from behind us. We turned around and it was Ramsey
"Go in the house Capri" Ramsey said. I just stared at him
"Go..." he said
"No" I said back. He looked at me surprised
"Excuse me?" He lifted one eye brow
"Just go inside" Jonah said. I stared at him long too. I got up and went back in the house feeling something about to happen. Something not good. I got in Jamie and I's room and put all of my stuff in my bag. I walked out the door only to be stopped by Jamie.
"Where do you think your going?" She asked
"Back to where I belong. The orphanage."
"What? No you can't"
"Watch me" I pushed her out of the way and walked out of the Funeral Home. I didn't want to look back once I got on the road. The past was the past and my future just became another past. :(
