Long Haiku-Alice In Wonderland-Part 1A Poem by ~VertoAtrum~I've taken many haikus and formed them into a long poem about the fantastic take of Alice In Wonderland.Young Alice
Kingsley, On a boring
lesson day, Wandered in
the grass She saw
something strange, Could it be?
Was it? She gasped, It bounded
away Was it a
rabbit? How silly,
it couldn’t be, A white
rabbit, there! “I’ll be
late! So late!” It spoke?
How peculiar , She chased
after it Suddenly,
she fell, Down, down,
down the rabbit hole, Away from
her world Upside down,
side-up, Through
pianos, trinkets, beds, She fell
down, down, down She hit the
floor, hard, There was a
table, and doors, Why so many
doors? She tried
them all, twice, None of them
opened, not one, But on the
table A bottle
appeared, A tag on it
said “DRINK ME”, Well, it’s
worth trying She drank
it, and then, She stared growing
taller, Head at the ceiling “This won’t
do!”, she said, Then, from beneath
the table, A small box appeared The tag said
“EAT ME”, “May as well”,
she took a bite, She started
to shrink But then she
looked up, There was a
key that may work, On one of
the doors She drank, grew
again, Now she had
the key She tried
every door © 2013 ~VertoAtrum~Author's Note
