You Don't Tell Me

You Don't Tell Me

A Poem by Verneé

You don't tell me you love me

Unless I say it first

You don't tell me you're sorry

Until I say I'm hurt

You don't tell me you miss me

If I don't stop to ask

You don't tell me you want me

Except when you want some a*s

You don't tell me it's over

You just go out and flirt

You don't tell me you'll change

Just don't want it to work

You don't tell me you're leaving

You save that for someone else

You don't tell me you're lying

I find that out for myself

You don't tell me we're through

Or that I'm not what you need

But you say we never talk

Though you don't tell me a thing

I am really glad I stumbled upon your writing...not even sure how! Still roaming around this site with a bad compass sometimes.
Your writing is a joy to read, musical, meaningful, and yet very down to earth.
"But you say we never talk
Though you don't tell me a thing" great end
